The Firmament Rose Cut Diamond Ring is a sweet celestial ring perfect for stacking or everyday wear. It was inspired by the Bague Au Firmament rings that emerged during the 18th century, in France. The term translates as “Ring of the Heavens”. These rings featured sparkly diamonds set in stars against beautiful transparent blue enamel or glass, truly reminiscent of the night sky. This style of ring was originally popularized by Marie Antoinette who was known to wear her own Bague au Firmament almost every day, its opulence and beauty fitting for Versailles. This is our own modern interpretation of that style. The center of the ring features a white rose cut diamond, that is bezel set in a closed back white gold, and surrounded by yellow star rays. Around the central diamond star is a hand mixed and painted blue semi translucent enamel. Each ring is custom hand-made to order in 4-5 weeks.
